The Slum Project has been a pillar of hope for over 25th years Initiated by Dr Kris Chatamra, Founder of the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer, and Khunying Finola Chatamra, Honorary Advisor. This project is strongly supported by the dedicated collaboration of medical teams, nurses, staff, volunteers, and generous supporters from both individuals and organizations.
Driven by strong faith and commitment, we have worked tirelessly to provide women in various underprivileged communities with equal access to breast and cervical cancer screenings. Our process involves working closely with a network of partners, including local community leaders.
The Slum Project is set to take place on 7th March 2026
Our dedicated team of doctors and nurses will be visiting local communities to provide vital healthcare activities and raise awareness regarding breast and cervical cancer.
The event will take place at two primary locations:
Location 1: Lock 6 Khlong Toei, Bon Kai, and Suan Oi communities.
Meeting point: Bangkok Vocational Training School (Khlong Toei)
Location 2:
Our Lady of Fatima Church
