After surgery for breast cancer,

you cannot swim, play golf or do any sports?

TRUTH

No! After breast‑cancer surgery the patient can build up slowly to do sports again.

If the patient feels ready, the individual should be able to swim again after 10 days and golf after 4‑8 weeks. The patient should wear a supportive bra after surgery and always follow the doctor's advice.
