A Journey of Opportunity

QSCBC Protecting Women from Breast Cancer

For more than 21 years, the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer has served as a sanctuary of comprehensive care and support for women from all walks of life through its multimodality programmes, including:

1. Clinical research initiatives, aiming to improve the quality of life of breast cancer patients, including the OPTIMA Trial and the Cellular Immunotherapy Project.

2. International conferences and seminars, enhancing the knowledge and expertise of healthcare professionals across Thailand’s public health system.

3. International healthcare partnerships, supporting the establishment of Bhutan’s first breast cancer centre through the provision of medical equipment and ongoing training programmes for healthcare professionals.

4. Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, featuring prominent figures from diverse fields and raising awareness of breast cancer through short educational articles in both Thai and English.

5. Slum Project, providing underprivileged women in underprivileged communities with access to health education and breast and cervical cancer screening.

6. Pink Park Village Project builds on the centre’s outreach Slum Project and provides comprehensive care and support for women with breast cancer who have limited access to healthcare services. The project comprises five facilities: 1) Hospice Centre; 2) Convalescence Centre; 3) Breast Cancer Care Centre; 4) Learning & Training Centre; and 5) Breast Cancer Diagnostic Centre.

On this occasion, we express our sincere appreciation to everyone whose generous support continues to support the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer, through the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation, in fulfilling its ongoing mission.
